frogguy1
I have 21 pounds of live rock. If i didnt add coral and only had fish is it still considered a nano reef? Link to comment
darwin604
Well the amount of live rock you have isnt really a defining factor. How big is your tank?? Tanks with just LR and fish are normally considered FOWLR tanks (Fish Only With Live Rock) . . not really a 'reef'. Either way, your welcome on the site and I'm sure everyone here is happy to help ya out with it regardless - no matter what your plans are or the 'technical' designation of your tank. d. Physh1
Word to that. A nano is more volume related than how much rock you have. Welcome to nano-reef and I'm sure we can be of some help. Any more info on your tank/setup? Cameron Link to comment
frogguy1
Im going to add other thing to my 18h. JUst not sure where to start. Starfish, anemones, sponges, etc. Link to comment
Physh1
Is the tank cycled? How long has it been running? What equipment are you running? Lighting? By calling reef critters "things" it leads me to wonder the status of your tank. Cameron Link to comment
