Genj
Anyone have any idea why water that was probably good would drop so quickly when stored in a dark room for 3 days before its use? Perhaps chemicals left over from the manufacturing process? I am going to test any pre-purchased water at the LFS from now on, but I just thought that was odd. Link to comment
lakshwadeep
Avoid trusting any pH/alkalinity numbers from water that is not well oxygenated, and even then elevated indoor CO₂ levels could be skewing them. Link to comment

lakshwadeep
I should have mentioned that these are the normal ranges, so they aren't actually low in the first place. http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-05/rhf/index.php Link to comment
