noobwithatank
im looking at setting up a 33long frag tank for softies mainly zoa's i had thought i might be able to get away with only 2 t5's as i plan to put them quite close to the surface.. would this work? i assume the lights would be 4-5 inch from the water and the frag racks roughly 4-5 inchs under the water aswell. (33 long is 48x12x12ish.. t5's would be 54watts) Link to comment
schgr.cube
I have this same tank with a 4 bulb Tek light, and when I had just one actinic and one 10k on, it actually lit the tank up fairly well. I have the light about 10 inches off the water, so moving it closer you could probably grow some decent stuff with it. Link to comment
