520 ppm calcium?

[i love picotopes]

im just wondering if 520 ppm calcium is safe for a picoreef? and if it is not how to decrease this amount?

I assume you are dosing calcium to get it this high?

 

I've run this high of calcium before with no ill effects. Usally it is hard to keep your alk up with this. I would check your alk if it is ok I would just stop dosing any calcuim until it starts to drop back down. 350 to 400 ppm of calcium is the norm.
