Lighting?

2x36 isnt enough for alot of corals over a 20. a small cpu fan will fix the heat problem and the algae is not really created by the lighting but the excess nutrients in the water and the spectrum of lighting. having macro algae in the tank can help the algae problem. i guarantee most people will recomend using 2x5 or 2x65 over the 20. many people on the board have this setup. i guess it all ends up depending on what corals you want to keep also. only low light corals will do well on a 20 with 2x36.

I use three 55w pc's on my ten gallon... I have a refugium also which I cool down with a fan so the water goes back to the main tank as the right temp.

2 55W PC on a 20 gal shouldnt be a problem, just get a clip on fan from target to blow out the hot air between the lights and the water.
