GobyMan
I have a peppermint who has been great, but he hides all the time. I was thinking of adding a cleaner or two. Do you think by adding two I would be over my "shrimp threshold" in my little tank? Thanks. Link to comment
Kapelakin
If you added two cleaners you'd have to find a mated pair. Three shrimp would be pretty crowded, too. Link to comment
Sahin
Peps IMO look crap. They are useful to remove aiptasia, but they can nip other corals too. Cant you get rid of the Pep and buy a nice cleaner shrimp? Mine stays out all the time, anytime I go near the tank it comes next to the glass or swims right to the surface. It also comes into my hand to look for food when I am cleaning the tank. Very fun to watch too. Link to comment
NaNO ReeFiN
I agree, how about returning the peppermint or exchange for a skunk cleaner. These guys never hide and aren't shy at all. Link to comment
GobyMan
That is what I probably will do. I feel bad though, the peppermint has served me well by ridding my tank of the few aiptasia that stowed away on my LR....I will probably add just one cleaner, they should get along... Link to comment
