Your experience with BioCube 29 HQI out-of-box?

I'm eager to hear from owners of the BioCube 29 HQI, particularly those who have run it out-of-the box for a while before modding it. (It seems everyone cuts holes in these things eventually.)

 

Specifically,

 

* Does the MH light make the tank run hot in typical office/room environments?

* Is the bundled skimmer effective?

* Is there adequate flow through the filter, or should I just go ahead and buy a Dremel too?

* Anything else I should know before purchasing this tank?

Well I bought the thing. Filled it with water and one lonely piece of live rock today.

 

Time will tell.
