Tivoboy Posted July 18, 2002 Share Posted July 18, 2002 I just got a pincushion urchin to help control the hair algae problem I've been having. I put him in yesterday and today he is dropping a lot of his spines. I have done a water change even though the tests showed nothing out of line. Is it normal for an urchin to drop some spines when moved to a different tank? BTW - I was planning on taking him back to the LFS or giving him to a friend when my hair algae is eradicated.
