danthenewreefman Posted August 3, 2010 Share Posted August 3, 2010 How important is Water Flow to Zoa and Polyp growth I think they'll "generally" grow a little faster in moderate/medium flow as apposed to little/no flow. But it really is a species to species difference, you've just got to experiment with um. Length of polyp stalk & polyp skirt length are said to have some relationship to the ideal care for a specific polyp. i.e.- very long stalk, probably less flow that a polyp with short stalk. but again...that approach isn't 100% correct. Lalebeq Posted August 3, 2010 Author Share Posted August 3, 2010 i am using the Quietflow 10 http://www.aqueonproducts.com/products/aqu...filter74412.htm says it moves 100gph ... not sure if thats enough for my three gallon or should i add a small Power head... if so anyone have any recommendations.... i am trying to make it idea for the little buggers to grow THANKS for the help Link to comment
