FishOnTheBrainCoral Posted July 23, 2010 Share Posted July 23, 2010 So I picked up some ROWA Kalk and I want to start using it in lieu of purple up (I know, i know) & cal carbonate. I also want to add an ATO & pick up some amino supplements to color up the tank a bit more. Now for the questions... What is a good starting point for amount of kalk to add daily? I have 1-1.5 gal a day evap in a 28+fuge. I will be testing to fine tune it. I just need a starting point... SPS,LPS,softies & lots of coraline. I don't need to raise, just maintain. I am going to build a ATO. If I seal it off at well as possible how long can I keep kalk mixed without it loosing its strength? Also if it is not sealed well? Can I put a weeks worth of my amino's, mag, & kalk all in the weeks worth of ATO? Link to comment
