Siren's eye
My tank just finished cycling, and now I have 0 nitrates and 0 nitrites, but my PH is too low. It's at 8.0. and my Alkalinity is over 300 (I'm using the 5 in one test strips. Yes, I know they're not the best but they got me started). I did a water change, but that didn't help. Is there anything I can do that doesn't involve buying expensive chemicals? My tank is only 5 gallons so I don't want to risk overdosing it. I read somewhere about baking soda and lemon juice? It's all just confusing to me. Link to comment
Austin
What are your other parameters, specifically SG? And what is your water source? Those params aren't that bad btw. Link to comment

cheryl jordan
pH is fine, worry when you get too 7.8 at the end of the photoperiod. And attempt to check pH same time of day when you check it. Link to comment
