JakeF150
My 29 Gal Biocube usually high as day- 82* and at night, its about 80*. I was suggested by a friend to low powerhead a bit to help move water better. (moved to middle from sandfloor) ..then few hours later, its droppped to 78.8 at night time...so i would bet it will raise *80... Does it happen to you if you move powerhead to different place and notice temp drop a bit?? THANKS! Jake Link to comment
Degener8
It could if your getting better surface agitation.. the warm water low/mid is being moved to the surface thus exchanging heat with th outside more. Link to comment
AZDesertRat
Exactly. Getting the water to "Turn Over" or circulate so you expose more of it to atmosphere really adds to both cooling and oxygen transfer. Link to comment
