saltyFISHscales
I have a 60 gallon cube, 24x24x24 inches. I am currently using a 150 MH and one 55watt actinic in the rear. Should i change the position of my MH so i can fit two actinics under my hood? One actinic would be on the left side then the MH in the middle then the other actinic on the right side... I dont know how else to explain my current position... the MH is going long ways from right to left and so is my actinic. Should i change it so they will run from front to back ? I hope someone understands my gorilla discription... Link to comment
2manytanks
put the MH in the middle, flanked by one Actinic on each side... front to back, or right to left... no matter, it's a cube (square) you'll get better light distribution this way, IMO Link to comment

saltyFISHscales
2manytanks, that's what i was thinking... cube is a cube, doesnt really matter... but I think I'll try what you suggested and put one actinic on each side of the MH. But I'm not sure if my MH is strong enough... Thanks for your input! Wetworx, hey fello cube fan! I think you already have seen my pics... You asked me to post it before, here's that link. http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/showthread...?threadid=22561 Post some of yours, I'd like to see yours too! BTW, list your set up thanks!
