fishymissy
The title pretty well says it all, what kind of conditions do bubble corals like? High flow areas, low flow, do they require MH or will PC's and NO's be good (75watts total over a 20g)? I know to place them on the rockwork, and that they have short sweepers, but would they bother a clam? Thanks!! Link to comment
Lunchbucket
bubbles are pretty easy. they are a medium light coral so 75w should be ok if they are high enough. i would place them in a very gentle current. i mean just enough to barely move them, just to remove stuff. they like pieces of shrimp and will readily eat and get fat. pretty easy just make sure all you levels are good, feed about 1x/wk, and enjoy. i would do pc's w/ bubbles but i am not a fan of NO's no matter what. they can have sweepers but are usually short. yeah they will sting the hell out of a clam if they touch it. fishymissy
Thanks for the info! I have a combo of PC's and NO's on this tank so I think the lighting will be good then. It helps to know where to place it in the tank too! Link to comment
