NCNBilly
Saw this at the LFS dry in a 20 lb bag, it claims its seeded with all kinds of goodies and has an expiration date on it. Wondering if anyone has used it or has opinions (not here, heh?) with this stuff. Also saw a nice piece of LR there with a blackish/brown urchin hitchiking. I'm just about ready to set the 7 gal cube up. Link to comment
scapone
I have used that sand in both my tanks and had good results. When the say live i think they mean benificial bacteria not that there are a live critters in the bag because i saw none in mine. you can get "real" live sand with actual critters in it if it feasable Link to comment
caja
He's right, it's full of beneficial bacteria but not much else. You can rely on your LR to seed it or you can purchase some goodies from www.ipsf.com to diversify your sandbed. Link to comment
Chronicles
It shouldn't be dry though, you should have some water left in there or maybe there is/was a hole in it. Link to comment
