handa2
did you do any searches here on nano-reefs or on reefcentral when this started? I find it reeks of laziness when someone just posts a pic and says "fix this for me." there is tons of information out there. Perhaps it is overwhelming or perhaps you just have no idea how to find this abundant information? Excellent starting point: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthre...&threadid=46871 Other resources: Broolynella:http://www.petsforum.com/personal/trevor-j...ooklynella.html Cryptocaryon: http://www.petsforum.com/personal/trevor-j.../marineich.html Amyloodinium: http://www.petsforum.com/personal/trevor-j...yloodinium.html common suggestions: for ich, treat with hyposalinity and methelyn blue, fungus treat with hyposalinity and malachite green, brook treat with hyposalinity and formalin. freshwater dip may also be a good start: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthre...threadid=135372 Do not put any of these treatments into your tank, they will kill your inverts. You must use a quarantine tank. Quarantine tank is very easy, and can be something as simple as a clean rubbermaid tub with an airstone in it. Use as much tank water as you can to reduce shock to the fish, and check ph and temp before you throw them in. Once in the process of treatment do regular water changes to keep the q-tank clean and follow the directions on the medication. freshwater dip may also be a good start: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthre...threadid=135372 otherwise utilize the "search" options on either page (nano-reefs or reefcentral) for more directions once you have some idea of what it may be. now get out there and save those d@mn clownfish! nanocat
Harsh, but excellent advice. Treat your clown, it won't get better on it's own. Link to comment
