wannabereefer Posted January 22, 2004 Share Posted January 22, 2004 ok , my 70w DE is up and running. i used the regent floodlamp, the glass that came with it, and after looking at the tank for about 10 min. my eyes seems a little sore . Anyone experienced this or am i just a wussy thats not used to it. Link to comment
Physh1 Posted January 22, 2004 Share Posted January 22, 2004 If you were getting shined at directly by the "eye" of the bulb than it will hurt. It will take some getting used to but getting direct halide light can burn and irritate skin/eyes. Cameron Link to comment
