ReefAddict
Greetings, Forgive my ignorance, but I'm new to the reefing... This little guy showed up poking out of a small cave hole on my LR a week ago. I think it's a tube worm, but doesn't match other pics I've seen. It does have a small stem body and retracts into it completely when resting. Expanded, it's about 1 cm. across. Any ideas? Thanks. Link to comment
ReefAddict
I'm beginning to think this is aiptasia? But doesn't quite match other pics I've seen on this forum exactly. Can anyone confirm? Link to comment
thisanthrope
could be aiptasia, could be a curly que anemone. (Relatively Aggressive ) Link to comment
enrico
Let it grow a bit more... Link to comment
caja
I agree. keep an eye on it. It doesn't look like a typical aiptasia to me either. Link to comment
ReefAddict
WHEEEWW... Thanks for the comments. After the first response, I was 24 hours away from nuking this guy with lemonade! But all of you are right, I shouldn't overreact (yet) and just observe how it develops. Gotta admit, this little guy is a trooper. Survived my initial water fluctuations, temperature changes, aquascaping, sand moving, and more while I've been getting stabilized. Link to comment
