My 2 yr dumped a whole bottle of baby powder in the livingroom. There is a thin layer of it on the lid which is not shut all the way. Some got in the water. What to do?

You should be fine....

If you're REALLY worried about it... do a 50% water change...

do the water change, that way you feel safe plus you get your weekly/monthly water change out of the way

I did my weekly water change yesterday.

I am mixing the water now. I am going to do 50% change and hope it helps.

i wouldn't worry at all. do a water change because you can never do enough.

just fragrance and talcum powder.

Talc by itself should be inert in a tank. Can't see it bonding with anything. Calcium in it should act like normal tank calcium precipitate.

My concern is all the other crap that's in it; metals, perfume, etc.

The funny thing will be if your tank starts running better. If your SPS starts growing faster please let us know! :-)
