But I didn't buy it yet.. heh I bought the following today from MarineDepot.com and BigAlsOnline.com: SeaTest Hydrometer Mini-Jet 404 Powerhead Salifert Nitrogen Cycle Test Kits* Ebo-Jager 50W Heater Thermometer Aquaclear 300 for Refugium Aquaclear Surface Skimmer The Salifert Nitrogen Cycle kit has all these tests: Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, and pH. All that, plus a tank, live rock, live sand, and a 96W Coralife light.... thats all I'll need untill I'm finished cycling.. right? Oh.. and salt.. whats the best salt to use? I was thinking of using either the Coralife stuff, or Reef Crystals.. ? =] Matthew Link to comment
tylernt Posted January 19, 2004 Share Posted January 19, 2004 Good equipment choices. I think you're set for cycling. Most people use Instant Ocean (IO) salt because it's cheap, common, and nobody ever seems to have trouble with it. Link to comment
Reefer_Buddha Posted January 19, 2004 Share Posted January 19, 2004 reef crystals is good. I use coralife salt and i dont like it, my calcium is usually high after i mix up some water with it. Id use that or Tropic Marin salt. Link to comment
