littleReefMan
i have had my gsp in my tank for about 2 weeks and theey have been doing great. they came out the first day they were in my tank and looked very healthy. yesterday i looked at them and the majority of the colony has shriveled tenticles. they were all still out at least, but they were barely out and had little nubs of tenticles. when i turned the light on this morning they all came out but still looked the same, all shriveled. what could have possibly caused this. is there any animal or water parameter that im not checking that could cause this. please help. thanks. caja
Can you give us your water params... ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH, and sg to start with. tank specs too. size of tank and lighting, and how long it's been set up. Link to comment
littleReefMan
the params are ammonia-0 nitrite-0, nitrate-0, pH-8.4, and sg-1.024. this morning at 7:00 they came out and looked pretty healthy, but then around 2:00pm they became dark and shriveled again, all except one little polyp and it looks really pathetic. i have another gsp colony in the tank, and it looks great. i have no idea whats going on.
