How do I wire this MH crap????!?!!

Heys,

 

Okay, I just got my $300 of MH stuff and not one friggin item even came with directions!!!! People here have the same setup, I was hoping someone could help me. Service reps said I wouldn't have to do any wiring well they can go f---- sorry. I am very frustrated right now.

 

Here is what I have:

 

PFO 250W HQI/DE Mini Pendant

Icecap HQI 250W Electronic Ballast

PFO/Icecap conversion plug - pendant to black/white/green wires.

 

The ballast has the black/white/green wires, ok. It also has blue and yellow wires that the ballast case says goes to the bulb. WHAT? The harness from the pendant/bulb has black/white/green wires! ugh. Okay so maybe those get switched. I still have to wire a 3 prong plug ( black/white/green wires) to the ballast. Do all the circular wire ends go to the extra screw on the ballast case?

 

Thank you all, sorry I am not an electrician nor experienced with this. I would NOT prefer a trial by fire, heh.

Where did you get it from? I bought the same thing (exept I bought the PFO mogul pendant) and premium aquatics wired it for me.

I got everything except the bulb from MarineDepot. Premium Aquatics was out of the pendant and ballast when I tried to order it. PFO acutally drop shipped their stuff to me, I got the IceCap directly from M-D.

 

Ugh. I wanna play with my new toy!!!!!!!!!!!

BLue/yellow Either end of bulb.

 

Black/white to three prong plug, green being ground.

 

But I am sure you already got this info. Enjoy your toy.
