I wasn't trying to be a douche, just wanted to convey the distinction between changing out 28 of 30 gallons over a month and the percentage involved. You are doing the right thing by your tank with the more frequent changes. No doubt. My 150 I do a 30% change once a month and my nitrates are never under 10 (which drives me nuts). My BC29 got tested friday and nitrates were undetectable, phosphates too. I wish I could do more frequent changes on the bigger tank but that would add up quickly. You weren't being a douche, even though I have been reefing for 8 years, there is always something to learn!!!! Link to comment
