Foogoo
I just got a very small colony (~6 polyps) of brown buttons yesterday. They look good so far. What do you recommend for them to thrive and hopefully increase in size? Currently in 10 gallon nano out of direct current with 55 watt smartlight. Thanks. Link to comment
Korbin
Are they the taller kind? or the squat little ones that dont extend far from the rock? I have the taller kind, and they love pieces of raw shrimp. I just touch the shrimp to their tentacles and they almost grab it off my finger. Link to comment
Christopher Marks
They are a very hardy coral, and their care is relatively simple. They will pull food out of the water column, or you can feed them directly periodically like Korbin said. They prefer low light, and moderate flow. Link to comment
Foogoo
I'm not sure what type they are. There are a couple that are almost flat against the rock and some that extend 3/4 inch or so. Wow I thought they would eat only phytoplankton...didn't look like they have any mouths but I'm going to have to try to feed them. Link to comment
