Magnesium levels

what is the maximum daily dose you can raise magnesium by? I have Kent Tech M it says 18.3 daily, but it will take me like a month to reach 1500ppm. Hopefully I can go more than that?

I would not suggest raising magnesium by more than 100 ppm per day. If you need to raise it by several hundred ppm, splitting the addition over several days will allow you to better home in on the target concentration, and might possibly allow the aquarium to deal with impurities that may come in with the supplement.

I had to raise mine a while back by 400 ish.. I raised it about 100-150ppm per day and had no ill effects from it.
