Mmorse
If I planned on bumping my tank up to a 29g would the current 2x55+1 18"Flourescent tube be enough lighting to keep simple easy to keep corals thriving. I currently have a star polyp colony a pom-pom xenia finger leather and a crown leather the only corals I would add would be more polyps or leathers? Also does anybody know if its easy to get coraline off an acrylic aquarium without scratching the acrylic, and how do you do it? Link to comment
Mmorse
ok, nevermind the acrylic cleaning question, found my answer when I spent the time to do a search=) still wondering about the lighting though, I have about 4 watts/gallon? Link to comment
Mmorse
Does anybody use a 29 or any other size acrylic tank? how did you set up your hood with the acrylic top and all. I was thinking that I would just use plexiglass in my hood design to keep the lights safe from water evaporation. Is this going to be too much for the light to penetrate through? Link to comment
