KariE2B Posted January 14, 2004 Share Posted January 14, 2004 Ok, so I just bought a bunch of snails, and 10 hours later one of the snails has moved a grand total of 3 inches....is it possible to have a really lazy snail, or is he on his way out....I gave them 2 hours to acclimate, so I am not sure if that was not enough time...had to go to work so 5 hours was not an option. yOyOYoo Posted January 14, 2004 Share Posted January 14, 2004 I had a snail like that after I acclimated him for 1.5hrs. Out of the 8 I acclimated only that one didn't move much. The next day a hermit ate him and took his shell. So I guess he was on his way out. Link to comment
caja Posted January 14, 2004 Share Posted January 14, 2004 2 hours is plenty to acclimate. Just keep an eye on it and if it dies get it out of the tank. Link to comment
