Mmorse
I am currently running a 20 gallon high and I am considering getting a 20 gallon long. the 20h leaves too little room for aquascaping. I was also considering getting a 30 gallon, its the same width and height its just 6 inches longer than my current setup. I will be running 2x55 pc's and a 18 inch flourecent tube. I know that the 20l will be better because the lights will be closer to the water but I dont plan on keeping any really high light requiring corals. currently I have a pom pom xenia, crown leather, star polyps, and a finger leather. There is approx. 35-40 lbs of LR in the tank. Any opinions or comments would be appreciated. I also have an unused 29g acrylic tank that I also considered using but I dont think that coraline algae would be easy to scrape off the acrylic without scratching it.: Link to comment

Mmorse
the lights that I have would be ok for the corals that I have right, if I got the 30 Link to comment
rehren
don't they also make a 29 long which is still 30" long, 12" deep, just taller than the 20 long's 12" height...? my vote is for a 20 long, i like the 12x12 shape... Link to comment

~_~
Keep it like it is, or get the 30/29. Link to comment
MrKrispy
100W would seem low for the taller 29g. Of course, I am biased, I am settup up a 20L. Link to comment
