bleu8 Posted January 13, 2004 Share Posted January 13, 2004 Hi I have the opportunity of starting my cycle with either deionized tap water from a fujitsu machine at work or some RO water from my local publix machine. What exactly would the benefits be one over the other? I intend to use my LFS for future water changes. Bleu Link to comment
birdman204 Posted January 13, 2004 Share Posted January 13, 2004 go to your LFS, get some fresh water and salt mix, if the tank is not started yet. otherwise, you can buy saltwater from the LFS but make sure you test salinity and I usually test for nitrates, and phosphates if its the first time from a particular store.
