Steve
Hello, I would like to glue the rim (peice that sits ontop of tank) to the top of my tank. What type of glue is safe? I have a Eclipse 3 gallon. Both parts are plastic. Thanks Steve- Link to comment
zzpw3x
Aquarium silicone seal from GE or Dupont. I have seen the Aquarium safe stuff at Home Depot and it is always at the LFS but much more expensive. Link to comment

Korbin
Silicone will not last long when applied to acrylic/plastic. You need acrylic cement. It will work, but it will be toxic to your tank until it cures. I did the exact same thing as you. I used silicone to attach the top to an eclispse 3. It didn't hold. Link to comment
