what to do about water flow.....

I have set up a 20L nano and am planning on getting a CPR aquafuge this week or next (ordering online). Right now I have a aquaclear 300 with sponge and carbon on one side, and a powersweep 214 on the other for water flow. My questions are....

 

1) 18 inch fuge and aquaclear 300?

2) what media do I put in the AC 300?

3) 24 inch fuge and no AC300, but another powersweep 214?

 

Any other options you might think of would greatly help.
