davsreef Posted June 23, 2002 Share Posted June 23, 2002 I think there are a couple of different reasons they split. One would be to repreduce and they will sometimes split when stressed. I dont think it is bad though:) My rose has split 3times. Link to comment

second2n0ne Posted June 24, 2002 Author Share Posted June 24, 2002 I'm having probs charging my digicam battery so pix are still coming...I fortunately had no probs with my BTA moving too much and stinging other corals. Once my BTA found a happy place he has stayed there for a good 3+ months until it split. The larger half has retreated to a lower position but not very far from it's original position where it's smaller clone has remained.
