so i changed my substrate from cc to sand 2 nights ago and today iam getting a ammonia reading of 1.0, everything thing else is fine with nitrite and nitrates at 0 and ph at 8.4 what should i do to get the ammonia down ? water change?

There is some filter material at the LFS called Poly Filter that worked for me. Or was a really good placebo.

Do a large (50+%) water change. When you removed the crushed coral, you removed part of your biological filter.
