Collinw24 Posted April 15, 2010 Share Posted April 15, 2010 I got some a few hours ago and it says to soak in water for 10 minutes before rinsing and putting into the tank. I was wondering if the soaking needs to be in fresh water or water from the aquarium? I used saltwater from the aquarium and hope I did not waste my money. It also says that it will get hot and mine only got warm, is this okay? Link to comment

Just rinsed mine with tap water and dropped in the tank after few minutes>> after 5 days running in my filter I still have 5.0 Phos readings :S and did not do any water changes > I am starting to wonder if I did waste my time using it.
