mtglore
Would moving the LR to a bucket of saltwater and scrubbing the hair algae off also be detrimental to any coralline growth? What about other solutions for dealing with algae, such as reducing the photoperiod or shutting the lights off all together--would this negatively affect coralline growth? I have a hair algae "problem" but have been hesitant to take such steps as coralline growth on my LR has been somewhat slow. It's there, but is takes a while. Link to comment
