Kicbak
I was looking around and was wondering if anyone can post some web links to some actinic bulbs that screw into a normal medium socket like a lamp. I have seen people using the curly flourcent lights in their hoods and I was wondering if where I could get actinic ones. Know of any places? Link to comment
bamann345
I have never seen just actinics. I know corallife makes a 50/50 bulb that screws in. Link to comment

darkgumby
These are 10 watt lamps. I found the same lamps in a 20 watt version at a couple of LFS (Duncanville, Tx & Addison, Tx) for $20.99. I bought 2 for a 7 gal minibow. Haven't used them yet but have high hopes. Link to comment
daFrimpster
I bought the 20 watt version for 17.00. follow the link to the 10 watters on the front page and they offer the 20's on that page as well. I had a pleasurable experience with ordering from them. Not lightning fast but it was around the holidays. www.franksaquarium.com Link to comment
