anyone have any recommendations on what kind of food to get for my new blenny. i know they are algae eaters(hes going to town on the stuff in my tank). What have yall had success with

What type of Blenny? My Golden Tongan Blenny eats all the algae he can, and he'll scarf down mysis shrimp like they're going out of style.

this is hm they said he is a red lip but i dont trust the LFS anymore anyone know if they were telling the truth

Cute fish. From what I read about my bi-color they'll eat just about anything but should have some algae in their diet. I feed Rod's food for my tank so hopefully he's getting a little bit of everything. He mowed down my hair algae in a hurry though, and keeps everything else pruned very nicely.

Looks similar to a Horseface Blenny.

 

I think it's a Red Lip Blenny.

Does he only have that red pattern on his face? If so, you lucky dog, you may have a scarface blenny. I wanted one of those! Got a tailspot instead.

If it is a scarface, it is mainly an algae and detritus eater.

hes cleaning up my algae very well i am going to get some hair in there next week not in any hury he ate some formula 2 pellets
