I need some help

I have moved my 10G nano into a 20G Long. The 10G is going to be my fuge/sump. I have put acrylic walls in the 10G to divide it into three sections. I plan to have the water enter one side, flow over into the fuge, and then into another section that will return it to the tank. My skimmer and heater will go in the 2 sections on each side of the fuge.

 

MY questions are.....

 

1) Will this work?

 

2)Can I just use one PH to pump the water in, and let gravity take the excess into the tank through the return line?

 

3)How high above my tank does the fuge/sump need to be?

 

4)where do the long ends of the siphon tubes go? In the 20L or the sump/fuge?

 

5)Should my skimmer be before or after the fuge section?
