redrocket
Heres my question. I am putting a custom fuge on the back of my tank from acrylic city. It will hang on the back of my 10 gallon. I have numerous sps and would like to know about the light getting into the tank from the refugium, when my halide is off in the main tank. Will that be bad for my corals to always have some light like that. Thanks Casey Link to comment
Reefer_Buddha
i doubt it. Youre not goin to have much light on a fuge maybe 40-50w max depending on what youre growin. If youre doin pods you want the light off all the time with macros you'll want 24/7 light but the amount for the fuge shouldnt be enough to hurt your corals. Link to comment
redrocket
So if I just want pods, the light from the main tank will be enough. Can I put a few calerpa in there. Link to comment
Twobuck40
Some light from the fuge enters my main tank, but none of the corals seem to mind. The fuge light come on about 30 min after the main lights go out. Link to comment
