I wanted to know what size bulb fits into those palm lights (they are small u-shaped flourescent bulbs). I want to use it as a possible moon light over my tank if they had an actinic colored bulb. thanks guys pat Link to comment
Christopher Marks Posted July 15, 2002 Share Posted July 15, 2002 They use either 13 watt or 9 watt powercompact bulbs. If you wanted to use one for night time viewing, you should use a red lamp, rather than a blue lamp. Link to comment

I know because I got one after I was unable to find anything about them in detail on the internet. I would recommend for the money go to this link http://www.hellolights.com/comlambalkit.html and take a look at the 9W or the 13W kit with the atinic lights. :cool: Link to comment
