kweckstrom
Now that i've modded the hood of my nano-cube to accomodate a Lee's skimmer, does anyone have any tips on how to "calibrate" it? I followed the directions, but it doesn't seem to be skimming anything. I'm getting the bubbles up to the bubble line, the water is up to the water line, and I think I have both air sources going the way they should... but after 2 days, nothing in the cup. The neck is loaded with bubbles, but no foam is creeping up. Any thoughts? Link to comment

birdman204
my euro reef has been running for a week on a tank that was just set up, but the rock was cured. took 3 days to start getting foam... Give it time. If yuou wanna see foam for foam's sake, add some marine snow, you'll get more foam than you know what to do with. also try raising the water level in the skimmer bu lowering it in the tank if possible.
