I couldn't find anything else that I needed at the time, so I just ate the shipping charge of a few bucks... I think the total was around $35. That's pretty close to the prices everyone else is charging for just the SCWD (no shipping). I got an email confirmation of my order, then a day or two later, I got an email from Pete Vaillancourt: Hi Rick. We have sold out of SCWD's and are waiting for are next order to arrive. IT should be here in the next seven days. Would you like us to keep your order active or do you want to cancelled. Please let us know. Thank you Pete Vaillancourt Inland Reef Aquaria http://www.inlandreef.com Having been through many hobbies that require mail order / online purchase of items to avoid paying exorbitant local prices, this is QUITE a relief. Most places would just let you wonder what was going on, until you eventually called to find out what the delay was. Since I'm in no hurry with this item, I told him to go ahead and leave my order and ship it when it comes in. I just thought that it was noteworthy that this shop takes good care of its customers.
