Shelf life of water?

Hi,

 

I get water from the Aquarium here in Cape Town, and was wondering how long I could keep the water for?

 

I have 2 x 20 liter containers that I can use, but only do a 20 liter change at a time on my tank - it's a 60 litre. So, could I store 20 liters at home for two or three weeks? It will be in a sealed container.

It lasts indefinitely. I make about a month's worth at a time.

I buy it 5 gallons at a time. As long as it's in a sealed container out of direct sunlight it's fine. Just pour off however much you are going to use for a WC into a bucket and toss in a ph to aerate it a bit before you add it to the tank.
