Kingpin
what king of aquascaping do they like? - other than swimming space. i mean like seagrasses, rockwork, sand bottom. right now my tang is in a sand bottom minor rockwork and was thinking about adding some marco aglea.(some what like SHEDD AQUARIUMS's seahorse tanks with "grass fields") Link to comment
mattie
you should add macro algae but it will disapear super fast since the tangs are omniavours that need lots of greens in there diets, but a tang in a nano is not something i would recommend. if you add a refugium you can grow the macro seprate and add it to the main tank for feeding you tang. as for your main question to the aquascaping make large caves aournd the bottom for him to swim aorund and try to leave some or a long straight open area hth Link to comment
Tempest
What size tank do you have? A tang, any tang, will quickly outgrow any tank smaller than a 55 (could probably keep a baby in a 30 for or 20 long for a little while). Link to comment
Kingpin
new 55gal bare tank noncoral for now. i do have a nano but this is my favorite forum and thought that you guys might know. Link to comment
Sicshift
I wouldn't put a tank in anything less than a 75. Link to comment
