clownfish4
Ok, I have a 29 gallon reef with a 20 gallon sump/refugium. I know this is huge, but it was the only tank I had lying around and I didn't want to spend more money to buy one. Anyways, the problem is I have two damsels in the sump/fuge because they are incompatible with some of my fish in my reef. So, I have a few questions. Is it ok to leave the lights on 24/7 with the damsels in there? Will the damsels eat the stuff that I am trying to grow? Will my fuge work if I just turn the lights on during the day? Thanks for your input. Link to comment
Crakeur
1. yes 2. macro - no, pods - very likely 3 - yes, however, depending on the macro algae, you might run the risk of the algae going sexual on you and creating green soup. Link to comment
