inTank
The Biocube 29 Fuge Basket is now released in the fancy new laser cut design with a green acrylic shelf. This basket works along side the BC29 Media Basket to hold chaeto or other macro algae for great filtration. The underwater lights compliment this product and allow you to grow macro without expensive fuge lighting options. Product Page Link to comment

reeflective
Hello Steve, I have a brand new BC29 and just recently purchased your media basket and new BC29 fuge (thanks for the quick service!). Can you comment on the expected fit of the fuge in the BC29 back chamber? When the media basket is locked in place on the overflow lip from chamber one, and the fuge is placed against it, there is a good (~0.5 - 0.75") gap between the fuge basket and the wall between chambers two and three. Is the basket meant to have space around it on all sides and just sit in this larger empty space after the media basket? Thanks for clarifying. Reeflective Link to comment
StevieT
Yes that is correct. The media basket is made to work with a skimmer (tunze 9002) and fuge basket. Since the skimmer is wider the media basket is 1/2" less wide than it could be with the fuge basket installed. Not to mention that there is molding around the top of the tank and once inside everything has more room than what is allowed at entry. We actually used to produce two media baskets for the BC29, one for a skimmer and one for everything else. This was phased out late summer 2009. Link to comment
