tinyreef Posted January 5, 2004 Share Posted January 5, 2004 the prizm will work but you may need a spacer between the tank and the reaction chamber. otherwise, the unit overhangs too much into the tank (imo). i used to use a video cassette box/clamshell. they were just about the right size. specifically, it was Babe, (crak, it ain't a porno ) the movie about the pig.. not a problem if the prizm is slightly higher than the tank's edge. just a little farther for the water to fall. (e.g. for the 2.5g) it can sit flat if you rest something between the button feet or whatever they are at the bottom of the reaction chamber. but for the 5.5g i think the prizm is short enough. Right. As for a spacer, I use a 2" wide peice of wood; I also use it to hold my window open in the summer. Link to comment
