ReefNewbie Posted January 3, 2004 Share Posted January 3, 2004 Hey everyone I am currently setting up my 38 gallon long and just put up my MH lights. They are 2 175 watt, 14000k lights. I was wondering how high above the tank I should hang them? I currently have them around a little over a foot above the tank. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated!! Link to comment
SeaFish Posted January 3, 2004 Share Posted January 3, 2004 I have a 50 gallon acrylic tank. I have two 250 watt radiums hanging 9in off the surface of the water. I have this for a while no with no ill effect. So i am pretty sure you are fine. Link to comment
