Kingpin Posted December 31, 2003 Share Posted December 31, 2003 i have a baby hitchhiker pistol shrimp. green in color about 5mm long. he has been snapping at my emerald crab i just bought, kind of like pinching his legs. will the pistol shrimp hurt my emerald? BTW how does emerald eat bubble algea?sofar it looks like he eating everything around it. Link to comment

I have never seen it, although the valonia in my tank has seemingly vanished, save for one massive bubble on my tuxedo urchin. I have seen my emerald perching on the bubble algae as it consumes many other things in the tank. Link to comment
