theshad
Setting up a 10 Gal and would like to get a pir of percs for the tank. My question is am i pretty much at my max fish load with 2 of them. Some clows have been known to be diggers. Has this truly been found to be the case? I have a 3" sugar fine sand bed that I would prefer not to have all over everything. If a pair of clowns is not the best choice what would other fish choices be? Looking for some colour but also want to add some interest. Link to comment
caja
A pair of clowns would be fine in your tank as long as you keep up with the weekly water changes. My first clown, true perc, was a surface swimmer and rarely went to the bottom of the tank. In fact his surface swimming is what ultimately ended up in his leap from the tank. The baby clarkii I have now was stirring up the sand in front of his anemone. For some reason it wants to have a depression in the sandbed there. I've smoothed it out several times and it goes right back and fixes the sand the way it wants it. I stopped messing with it and so did he. Very strange. Link to comment
